Using iPad 2 running latest U-Mix Remote app updated 12 Nov 2011

Running Cross DJ free version 1.7.1 on MacBook.

Searched FAQ online as well as help file on app itself tried connecting through shared wifi and ad-hoc network.

When MacBook is running Cross DJ free, iPad picks up MacBook on both ad-hoc networks and through wireless network but the minute I pick my computer on app on iPad, the application just quits on iPad!

Any suggestions?

From what I know Cross DJ Free does not support MIDI, Timecode and Controll by iPad 2. Are you sure you have Cross DJ Free? Not Cross DJ or Cross?

Sorry for this crash, only happens with the FREE version.

A new version of U-Mix Remote (1.2) will be available soon in the AppStore and will fix this crash.

For now, a demo version of Cross / CrossDj (not the FREE version) should feeds your needs (check our website)!

That's mean Cross DJ Free will support remote soon.

Same issue here, just downloaded U-Mix Remote from the appstore and try it with the free Cross mac app and it crashes.
With the demo version works.

under control, update come soon... (need to be approved first by the appstore...)

Well glad to see its being worked on. App store says it is compatible with free version. Will look forward to the update. Any idea when it will be available?

It is, 1.2 is out on the AppStore.
