HI all. I am running Cross DJ on Wondows 7. I have established an adhoc connection and have connected the iPad 2 to the PC. When I start up the Remote, it does not connect to the PC!!! I have gone into the setting on the PC to connect to U-Mix Remote, but on the iPad it says " Please connect the iPad and the computer running Cross 1.7 to the SAME Wi-Fi network!" I have gone through the steps countless number of times, but it will not connect.
Can anyone stear me in the right direction please

Hey,

Are you using a firewall? If yes please disable or allow any connection for Cross DJ. Incoming and also outgoing connections. I would disable the firewall for that program to get a quick connection.

UPDATE: you have to use also the newest U-Mix remot app which will be automatically downloaded is you have enabled the auto update in the AppStore.

My bad.... but after I placed my serial number in my profile, I was able to download 1.7 on the PC. Now it's working. Only thing, I thought I would be ablke to cue via my iPad, but i guess it dosen't send the audio via the wifi???

Next version.

Love the update!!!! But still thought I would be able to cue via the iPad, not just do a preview, but actual mix via headphone..... None the less, nice update, much nicer response!!!!

Where can I find the U-Mix Remote app serial number?

hey,

the U-Mix Remote App has no serial number. It is managed by the Apple AppStore. If a new version of the App is aviable you are able to update to that version via the Store.
You can run the App with the Cross DJ Free edition without big limitations (only Remote App controll no MIDI or DVS controll) for free.
When you want more functions you can buy a Cross DJ or Cross License and run it with it also.

So what exactly do you want with the serial? Or do you mean a Cross (DJ) serial?
