Hey,

I am thinking of buying a Vestax VCI 380 and I was wondering, if it is possible then to control Cross also with Timecode-Vinyl, due to the Vestax hast Phono Inputs.

Or do I need another Interface in-between to use the Vinyls?

If so, is it possible to buy the Cross-Interface without the software? Or is the U-Mix 44 the thing to buy then?

Cross is available without the hardware, unlike some other DVS' out there.

However, and I may be wrong, I don't think the inputs on the VCI-380 are soundcard inputs - they're for the built in mixer only to playback from real media rather than TCV or TC-CD.

You'd have to use something like the Native Instruments S4 that has true soundcard inputs to process the control signal.

Uff :P i think the same way, 2. But for such a price it would be just fair to include such a funktion.

I need exactly the opposite: JUST the hardware, i bought Cross long time ago and used it with Reloop Spin!2+, but this one is dead now :/

With U-Mix Control Pro I can use Vinyl-Timecode also, right? And what is the difference between Pro and Pro 2? Is the 2 the new one?

In regards to the hardware I'll have to defer to someone with more experience than I....

Because I'd probably get it really, really wrong...

basically the U-Mix Control Pro and U-Mix Control Pro 2 are the same, except V2 has 4 locator/sampler buttons and 2 more pots for fx-depth.
