Damn - that's what I was afraid of. I don't really want to use ASIO4ALL for the Ultralite. Guess I'll stick with the ESI drivers for now (my set-up is prety slick with the ESI drivers anyway)...

i have a couple problems with this:

1. When i start up install wizard in MV, this window first pops up saying "U46 Asio driver not present"
2. when i try to pick sound card, U46Mk2 isnt even an option, all i have is "1:U46Dj 1- U46DJ 2" and it goes all the way to "3: U46DJ 5- U46DJ 6
3. when it comes to the audio inputs connected to CDs and turntables, I have 0 options to chose from.
4. I just decide to bypass it by going to options and manually calibrating my decks via vinyl/cd input tab but the sound only comes out of 1 channel of my mixer

I am running vista 64 bit on my new laptop, my previous laptop that too ran MV was a 32 bit and had problems as well.

this is all very frustrating and is pi**ing me off

1. When i start up install wizard in MV, this window first pops up saying "U46 Asio driver not present"

This is because your DVS setup was configured to use this driver but is no longer present.

2. when i try to pick sound card, U46Mk2 isnt even an option, all i have is "1:U46Dj 1- U46DJ 2" and it goes all the way to "3: U46DJ 5- U46DJ 6

this is normal, the in's and out's are no longer named by the U46MKII/U46DJ driver. they become named by the windows driver.

3. when it comes to the audio inputs connected to CDs and turntables, I have 0 options to chose from.

read the tutorial on setting up the in's and out's of the ASIO4ALL driver, unless they are active on the ASIO4ALL cp then they will not show in Mixvibes.

4. I just decide to bypass it by going to options and manually calibrating my decks via vinyl/cd input tab but the sound only comes out of 1 channel of my mixer

make sure the output of each player is set to a different output, player one, 01 and player two, 02.

this is all very frustrating and is pi**ing me off

Language please.

Bryan

I have the usual U46 MK II drivers installed and it works perfect on 1.5ms (64 samples). Would you recommend to install the ASIO4ALL driver???? What advantages wll there be?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Steve
