shaky audio

Hey,
I just got the MK2 and I'm using it with DVS. I've been getting shaky sounding audio when I put the music into vinyl mode. The calibration seems to be working correctly. The quality hovers between 96 and 97 percent. The latency is at 256 and the sample rate is at 44100Hz. The shakyness isn't that prominent but it's enough to make you cringe.

My dell laptop:
- Pentium(R) 1.80ghz processor
- 512MB Ram

The registry is clean and no other processes are running.

Please help soon becasue I have a gig in a few days and I'm relying on this system to work.

Thanks,
Alan

I installed the driver off of the cd included with the U46MK2 by following the instructions from the manual. here's the config report

this is where you are wrong.
Do your set up in the sound option on ASIO mode.

Ok... that pretty much solved the problem for the first turntable. The second turntable is still very shaky.

Also I have no idea how to get the second turntables signal to come out of the 2nd output. I have it set come of 3-L and 4-R under the Asio sound setup. However both signals are coming out of the 1st output.

heres the config report again:

Your latency is too high, you must set the sound card buffer to 256 for your first test. (6ms) your setting is actually on 512 (12ms)

You should do or redo step by step the configuration assistant in Mixvibes files->configuration assistant

To get left on channel 1 & right on channel 2 click on the right view on channel 1, it will change to 2

Arrite!! I did everything you told me and everything was working great for about 20 minutes until the Audio became really choppy and ugly sounding. It wasn't a problem with the hardware. it was the softwear. :banghead: It stopped when I restarted mixvibes but I really hope it doesnt happen tomorrow!

Any ideas on how to fix it?

thanks soo much for the initial help!

Did you do the full update with the uninstall/install of the U46MK2 drivers. I think you forgot this step. Do this update again if you miss it.
