Normally you can connect the adapter to a USB port for power when play with TCVinyl or normal records. Now I disconnect the laptop connect a power adapter... can I still play normal vinyl (not TCVinyl ofcourse). I suppose it works but before trail and error i want to be sure.

Hi Qdj,

This is a very good question. This not possible to use the U46MK2 without a computer. But you can use it without MixVibes' software: set the bypass with the soundcard's control panel.

Your right tested and NOT approved , but the solution was simpler than I could imagine.
Use Y-Cables for pass through. So connect your turntables via y-cable to your U46MK2 AND mixer. When using PC set Mixer to Line, when using your Vinyl set mixer to phono. It is also mentioned in the MixVibes Manual but when you only buy the U46MK2 you don't have the manual.
