U46mkII -> right player plays without vinyl-input (???)

Hi everyone,

my u46mkII works fine so far, but the right player plays forward about 1 sec or 2 in a minute even when no needle is on the vinyl. When the u46mkII is turned off this happens not. Can somebody help me?

I use the driver updates posted by unkle vibes in the u46mk forum. Mixvibes 6.38. Config report isn't so easy for me because i have no www at home... I can try to post it from a friend but this may take some days.

Bye

could this be a "overload" issue on your soundcard for selecting a too low buffer size?
I get this problem too when my soundcard card "overload".

Now I have bought a vista-laptop, set the latency to 128 samples and nothing happens without playing the vinyl. FINE!

So maybe new asio-drivers for my desktop could be the solution???

Now I found the problem. It's feedback! This effect is especially strong when I play songs that have whistle or flute sounds (high sinus tones). You know how to stop it without reducing the volume????
