Media Loading Error

Hello,
I have just purchased an AVE Ezymix1 MIDI DJ system that comes with MIXVIBES.
I am using a MAC and also have tried it on a Windows laptop and had the same issue.
When I attempt to load a song onto MIXVIBES it comes up with : Media loading error, can't load media: check your audio settings. Any ideas of what it actually is that I need to do to fix this??
