usb cable freeze my PC/u46mk2 3.0 drivers

hello everybody
I'm experiencing some issues with the usb port..if I remove my mixvibes usb cable, my PC it is gonna freeze completely (even the mouse it's completely frozen) and obviously the sound drop off...this freezing thing happened also other time but I couldn't really understand why..I thought maybe the cable just slightly moved out of the port and that was the couse of the freezing..I already made my PC optimization, so I tried to download new udio u46mk2 drivers 3.0 but when I install it it says that the file is corrupt and I can't install it..I tried installing the v1.041 and just doesn't work...i really don't know what to do

Hi,

first thing before installing anything new is to uninstall the old drivers.
(use windows uninstall tool) and then clean the registry with ccleaner.

this should hopefully solve your issues.
also make shure the correct driver for your sound card/windows version and follow the install-instructions.
you must not connect the u46mk2 before the installer tells you to!!!

I uninstalled everything and clean with ccleaner I installed at first DVS 7.2 and message of uncorrect serial number appears..(and of course i didn't insert any serial number) I tryed with 7.1 and I have drivers prblem..I'm very frustrated because it feels like a never ending problem..maybe it's just me but there is always some trouble with mixvibes and everytime I have to reinstall everything and everytime there is always some problem installing stuff..thanks for your help by the way

you should try the rc Update DVS 7.4 RC1 & releases notes

it might solve your problem,
if you already optimized your PC for audio, the only thing coming to my mind is that you might also try to replace the nvidia/amd grafic driver with the generic windows one (if you have a dedicated grafixcard)

webcam driver cause some trouble quite often as well.

thnks man but I'd like to solve my problem not to avoid it using other programs to test them...i've been using DVS 7.2 untill now and now that I re-installed it it's doesn't run because it says wrong serial number...

maybe you had a typo, btw its not another program but an rc/update.

now I tryed to install mixvibes pro and it work (in a very sloppy way..) and it's very weird because I'm assigned with DVS...shoudn't be a message of uncorrect serial number since I'm with DVS?..I visited my profile page and I re-assigned myself to DVS but this doesn't help.....and then how a program know that I'm assigned with pro or DVS? I have no connection on my laptop...

ok..how am I supposed to re-install the program if I don't know where is my installation cd is? and why there aren't any version available?what's the point of that?
