I would like some help if possible please as i am struggling to get my Denon DN-HC1000S to work with mixvibes Cross Pack mk2.. Ive downloaded the Denon firmware and unzipped it and done everything that Denon says i should do but when i go to the MIDI section in -Preferences on Mixvibes even though in the the down box it says denon dn-hc1000s in there unfortunatley there is no picture of the unit to click on and i cant go any further, ive assigned it to MIDI channel 1,the only thing that does happen is if i hold shift on the denon and push files/browse/history/prepare it changes the number 1 then 2 then 3 then 4... Am i missing something any help would be really appreciated thanks...

@Dave Outerzone, I have removed your email address from your post, this should stop your inbox getting spammed. Regarding emails, I would use PM's in future mate, alot safer Don't worry, I have sent kelt a PM containing your email address so you should hear from him soon.

Hi there forum ive just got the controller pro and i am using it in conjunction with Cross Pack software 1.6.1 as i also have the mixvibes Cross Pack with vinyl but while im away at weekends so i go stand alone mode with just my PC which is a dell inspiron 1710.. Everything works fine other than 2 things-First of all i get drop outs when i try mix or use the pitch controls or even when playing one track alone.. I have tried switching wi-fi off and no other programs running etc and also tried updates and latest firmware.. I am in dual stereo mode when using controller with no input on line 1 and 2 on preferences as stated via the instructions for stand alone mode... The other problem is that when i use the jog wheel to say scratch the beginning of a track its very distorted and i have tried changing the setting in audio but doesnt matter which ever way i go its still the same... I can handle that but its the drop outs and its both tracks that drop out not just the one at the same time, its very annoying but other than that everything works fine.. Im running a external computer speaker system from outputs 1+2 into a single phono jack.. Hope you can help thanks.....

Hi Daniel thanks for your reply,I normally use the Laptop running Cross Pack with my SL1210S on 1.6.1 with the external soundcard.. It works absolutley fine and im very impressed with it.. Its just when im in stand alone mode using laptop and controller pro that im having problems.. The Laptop specifications are as follows... Dell inspiron 17r Intel Pentium R6200 2.13GHz processor 4GB Ram 320gb Hardrive... Im not the most technically minded but should that run it okay... Any help would be appreciated Thanks Dave

Check the forum for "Windows optimisation for audio software" and do what is told in there, after that playing with your controller should work without drop-outs and first please update to the latest version: 1.7.1

Often the "Dropouts" or caused by the ASIO Buffer set to low for your system specs, Try increasing the ASIO Buffer in your soundcards control panel. Dave Outerzone wrote:controller pro that im having problems..
Do you mean the U-Mix Control Pro?
