Hi, Previously I used MV Home 7. Whenever I moved the tempo slider, MV kept it in memory 'till the next time. As far as I know, to get this done, the 'history' checkbox should be checked. In MV DVS,the checkbox is definately checked, but the slider settings are not kept in memory... not in the same session, not after saving. Is there anything else I can do?
Is there a complete manual available online?
THX!!!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your quick response... ... I did however consult both the FAQ's and the documentation. For DVS I could only find a quick start guide, and in the FAQ's I couldn't find anything about the tempo slider. When I read my MV Home 7 manual, I can see that the "history" box should be checked... and in MV Home, that works perfect... But in the DVS version (History is also checked), No changes are saved?

Can you please explain why you need to save the pitch slider position?
Thanks! Cheers,
Steve

I use this program as a dance teacher Ballroom and Latin and in case of a dance evening, I prepare my music in advance. Some tracks need to be pitched down, some pitched up. And yes, I do know my music... but most of the time someone is playing the songs for me while I help dancers where needed... and they don't know the music, nore the tempo I'd like them to be.
Does that make any sence to you?

Oh yes of course! That makes sense! Thanks for clearing that!
I have got a workaround for you: If you know the track's speed is 120 but should be played at 125 you can change the track's bpm, load that track into a deck and the pitch is at 0% and the track is playing at 125BPM ... could be a trick, not sure if it works but you can test it. Otherwise I am out of ideas and have to think of it.
Cheers,
Steve
