Hi, last week my laptop finally died, so i bought a new sony vaio net book, it meets the standards to run DVS 7. I've installed the driver for the hardware already and thats fine but the problem i dont have a cd drive on my computer so i cant intall the program again through that process, i was looking in the download centre and i cant find the DVS 7 program, only updates.

Question, is the DVS 7 program in the download centre or am i going to have to buy an external cd drive and install it that way with the dc rom?

no it is not aviable at the download section as an download. you need a CD drive or an other computer where you can create an image or share the drive to the netbook.
Or if you have not an other computer to share it you will need a usb CD drive.

[EDIT] At the other computer with an CD drive you can create an image of your cd and open it with Deamon tools or virtual CD at your netbook and install it.
Alternative you can share your CD drive via the network sharing manager from windows. Then you map the CD drive at your netbook via the LAN and install it from that way.
