Switching from DVS7 to Cross DJ, what about the hardware?

Postby Djoram on 07 Aug 2011, 19:10

Hello everyone,

I've got the DVS software for about a week, works like a charm but I also got a Cross DJ le, and I must say I like this software way more (considering the performance, layout, installing hardware and easy-to-useness, all features I kinda miss in the DVS 7 software) than the DVS 7, so I'm thinking about buying the full version of Cross DJ, but will I still be able to use my U-MIX44 and timecode CD's (which I got with the DVS software) with Cross DJ software?
Hope someone can help me.

Greets

If you buy Cross (!) then you can use it in timecode mode. Cross DJ (LE or not) is just for MIDI controllers without the ability to use timecodes.

thanks for the reply,

So if I buy the Cross (and surely not the Cross DJ) it will work? even with the timecode cd's from the mixvibes DVS pack?

I know red and yellow timecode CDs from the Cross Pack and unfortunately do not know which ones are included in the DVS Pack (I don't even know which DVS Pack you have bought). But they should work - no guarantee.
