no inputs or outputs in U-Mix 44

Hey,

could you upload screenshots of your sound configuration at the device manager? It could be that your asio driver is not installed correctly. And what are you selecting? Umix-44 Asio? or something different?

What is the device manager? I dont know it really.
But i'll send you e printscreen of Cross?

Um in Cross i get the chose between direct sound and asio, i choose asio en there i can select mixvibesumix44

Hey,

ok first you can upload a picture of your Cross preferences. When you go to the outputs have you there some entries?

OK you have to choose the mixvibes U-Mix44 at the Asio Section.

to your question of the device manager. Windows has a manager where every device at the computer is located as a Driver with settings you can change. You can find the device manager under -> Preferences -> Device Manager

Then you go at the section -> Audio-, Video- and Gamecontroller and you should see there a U-Mix44 entry.

Btw. The picture of your setting can you upload at imageshurk or something else and post the link at the forum. I'm not the only person how is able to help so mybe some other persons know something different which I currently not seeing (sometimes a third person is very helpfull )

It is looking like it is still not installed correctly. It would be nice when you could look at the device manager and uninstall the device and install it again (it could be that the driver is not installed completly and some of the old driver or asio4all or the windows driver is left at the device...)

You should find the device manager via -> Start(windows button at the bottom) -> Preferences -> Device-Manager (in german it is also called "Geräte-Manager").

I have a question: How do you uninstalled the U-Mix44 Driver? I'm not familar with the install and uninstall routine of the driver but has it a installer with an uninstaller? Or have you uninstalled it via the Software-manager?
It could be that you still have driver conflicts.

As said Christian it looks like your drivers are not installed correctly. Please uninstall your drivers and reinstall them. If you'd like you can find the latest drivers for the U-MIX44 right here: downloads.php?cat=28
