Hello
I have an U-Mix 44 with Mixvibes DVS Ultimate. I have it already for a while and it worked fine, well, sometimes. But today, i wanted to connect U-Mix with vdj to play only with an external mixer, but it didnt worked? It is nog the first time i tried this, but its the first time it doesnt work. vdj says that the asio driver doesnt have enough channels. I have re-installed mixvibes DVS and i can't even play with that program, he can't find any outputs or outputs. I don't have an idea whats wrong?
thanks, jonaspolin

Hey, yes your key is now in your profil. Now to your problem: which driver do you have installed for the U-Mix44? The newest from the board or the driver which was delivered with your DVS? Here is the link to the newest driver: [PC] [WIN XP, VISTA, SEVEN] U-MIX44 1.0.4And it also helpful to have some specs from your computer. And have you pluged the soundcard everytime to the same port or to different ports? regards Christian

Well, I have deleted everything and then i installed the CD that i got, that didn't work, so i found those extra drivers on this site, but they also didnt work, so i downloaded asio4all, but that didnt work eighter?
The program recognises my hardware, but he says that there are no outputs or inputs, inputs could be right because i don't want the use the timecodes now.
Maybe something changed on my laptop ? Caused by an other problem?

You have installed the program from the CD? Only DVS or also the driver? (at the end of the DVS installation it ask you). Have you cleared the registry? after deleting the old version of the Driver?
When you perform a registry clean please save the old registry first. When errors occures after cleaning you can role back the old registry. (If you need a good program you can use CCleaner).
Btw which OS are you using? Win7, XP, 64bit or 32bit or a MAC?

Ok wich Win7? 64 or 32bit?
and yes some people too have the same problem in the past... Some windows updates or other programs can cause these problems.
And when you want to test the original driver please uninstall the Asio4All Driver and perform after that a registry clean and then install the offical driver. Too many drivers at the same system for one device can cause problems too.

Is it a laptop or a tower PC? is the U-Mix44 everytime connected to the same USB-Port? every new USB-Port you have to install the Driver again.
OK when you have deleted everything also Asio4All then perform a registry clean.
Btw. is the U-Mix44 still connected to the computer? then please go at the device manager and say there uninstall. After that perform a reboot and also please unplug the U-Mix44. After the reboot you can install the driver from the board and after that connect the device with your computer.
regards Christian
