Dear Guys,

I've got a problem (and big one !) when Launching Vfx on my laptop.

I've got this message :

It appears that your video hardware (Intel HD graphics family) Is not compatible. Do you want to try to start the video engine ?

As a result, i don't have images...

My Laptop is a new Dell XPS L702X with :

Windows 7 Home Premium Home Edition
4 GO RAM
Intel core i7 2630-QM

Video :
Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics
Vidéo Card Intel(R) HD Graphics
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M

I see you have a Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M can't you use it instead of the Intel gpu? If you can it's a compatible graphic card with Vfx

You have to choose the Geforce for video playback.

I guess you have the nvidia-driver installed.

So just right click on the vfx-icon in the win-explorer and choose "run with nvidia hp card".

Hey Guys,

Thansk for your reply. I tried what you say. I directly change into my nvidia control panel the defaut settings for application.

And i started Vfx with the new paramaters but still same message.

However, when i clcik on yes, the video engine start and have now an image on my second flat screen.

Thanks,
Nicola

strange, but good that it works

Edit: might take a while before optimus switches grafics, that would explain the error-message :?:
