skiping or freezing help !!

hello everybody i update to the1 5.4 now everytime i change songs the programs freeze for a sec meaning that the song thats playing do to

so i pull up 1.5.0 to see if it would do the same and now that one does it to and it wasent so what could be the prob

plz be more informative on your system. is it a PC or a mac (specs?), what soundcard are you using? are you using timecode or MIDI controls? etc etc, any details that could matter

Additionally: Did you optimate your computer for audio software?
I tihnk it is a latency issue!

+1 on that. see this page http://audioforums.com/windows-xp-optimization.php these are the tips for win xp but they work with vista/7 as well

an expert should make a mac list too..

hard to tell, basically I´m with Steve, i mean if 1.5 was running fine before on the same mchine, i can only be the latency set to low.

Or is the PC new?

same mchine so what i need to set the latency to

try just one step higher, e.g. 64->96

But if your buffersize is above 256 try lower.
