Basically this is only the name that intel has given this specific cpu-motherboard configuration ( 2nd gen i-cores featuring l3-cache and a 4-link ringbus directly connected to cpu,gpu and memorycontrollers instead of crossbar architecture)
But there are only 2 things relevant about it: -higher bandwith->better performance and changed usb-handling. But unfortunately the changed usb-handling can lead to malfunction of usb1.1 devices, mainly those which stream data constantly (audio-devices for example)
All you need to know is, wether it is one or not.
2011 built i-core->sandy bridge. Dont buy before testing!
