Output to U-Mix 44

Hi
I'm set up using some ion Discover DJ MIDI decks through Cross, and i've bought myself a U-Mix 44 soundcard to split my outputs and hear a cue track.

However, after selecting the U-Mix 44 as my sound device, I can only seem to get one channel running at a time, be it cue or master if I use a dual stereo configuration, or track1, or track 2, or cue with external mixer, but they never run simultaneously.

I have a seen a screenshot of a properly configured system which shows Outputs 1,2,3 routing to out1/2, out3/4 and out5/6 respectively. However, I am seemingly only able to select one out as left/right.

I have tried this configuration with both PC and Mac, and am having the same problem. I have tried configuring all kinds of settings outside of Cross to resolve it, but nothing seems to be working.

Please Help!

Hi,

Im not shure if i understand correctly, but you´re problem is that you cannot get the master and cue signal at the same time, correct?

It should work fine with the U-Mix, select dual-stereo but be aware that the headphone/cue signal might come out of the Rca-plugs,
so you will need an adapter (which should be in the box iirc) to connect your headphones to it.

That is exactly my problem, and no matter what configuration I use, where i send the signals, or which ports I plug myself into, it is only possible to get one signal, be it master or cue, to come out at any one time. Individually, all the outputs work fine, i've checked that, i'm almost certain i'm configuring Cross wrong, but I don't know where

Ok, we´ll get that.

Would you provide a picture of your U-Mix and your audio settings in Cross.
And please register your Cross serial in the user panel so you can access the updates.

J

Hey,

had already registered Cross, but I have re-entered the serial just in case.

Here is my audio configuration in Cross

Problem solved

you have to select "mixvibes U-Mix asio" from the dropdown menu where it now says "mixvibes ... sound device".

Then you will be able to configure out 1 & 2 at the same time.

[this is because right now you´re using the wdm-driver instead of the high-performance asio driver]
