Play, Pause, Cue Buttons Under Cross useing at Vinyl Mode

Hallo.

I was getting the new U-Mix Controller 2 yesterday. And now my question is. I remember that when i was playing with DVS 7 and my Stanton SCS 3d that i can switch into Vinyl or not Vinyl Mode. If i will not be in the Vinyl Mode, my Controller was able to start the songs with the Play Button on the Controller.

But now i was testing Cross and if i will play with Vinyl i don't can use my Buttons on the Controller to start my Song. Because inside of Cross there is now option that will allowed me to switch between Vinyl or Controller Mode.
You can only switch into the Flexible Mode that you can remove the Needle from the Record. But with the Controller you cant start the loaded Song. Only if you will drop the Needle again on the Timecode.

Is there any Solution or option where i can use this function in Cross too. Or is it totally not plan to use this kind of function when you use Cross with Timecode.

Thanks Poertsch

first of all, lets clarify one thing: according to your user panel you have dvs7 and Cross DJ (not Cross!), and Cross DJ has NOTHING to do with timecode as its a MIDI only software. see this comparison table on the mixvibes DJ software :right: http://www.mixvibes.com/content/cross-dj-compare-product

as for the umc2, lets wait for another answer cuz im not familiar with either Cross DJ s or the umc2 s behaviour

Hello,

In Cross DJ LE, there is no option allowing you to switch from controller to vinyl. In Cross DJ LE, to play a song you'll have to press play every time!

He said that he is testing Cross ;) (He is a betatester). We had this conversation in the german forums and I said that it is not possible to control Cross with timecodes AND use the transport buttons at the same time. Because of the fact that I am not familiar with that handling I suggested Poertsch to open a thread in the technical support forum ;)

So please do not blame him for using a software he obviously does not own - he is allowed to do so ;)

Cheers and all the best,

Steve
