So I bought Cross, I like it, but I'm having a few issue with the pitch when using it in vinyl mode. When I have 1 tune playing on 1 deck, and load another onto the opposite deck the pitch 'wobbles'. This also sometimes happens when I'm cueing the vinyl that is not playing, the vinyl that is playing can slow/speed up very slightly for a second then returns to normal. I have a good high power laptop, and the vinyl aren't very old, everything worked fine in DVS 7 so I'm hoping its just a setting I have wrong? Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

On the driver the latency is set to 256, I can increase this to 288 but I have noticed once I unplug the U46 and plug it back in, the latency returns back to 256. How do I keep it at 288? (I have not yet had time to see if this solves my problem).
Also, a while ago when Cross was first released I downloaded the trial, when I did this I had to download and install a different driver, compared to the one I used for DVS 7, for it to work with the U46. When I upgraded to Cross recently I did not install a new driver, but it worked with the one that was already on my computer apart from the issues I have mentioned. Should I have downloaded an alternative driver?
I have a gig next week which I really need this to be sorted by. Would changing the Buffer number have any effect? This also returns to its usual setting of 2 once the U46 has been unplugged.

Hello, the best thing when you use Cross save you latency setting, once your finished mixing unplug your soundcard. The next time you mix, make sure to always plug your soundcard in the same usb port of your computer. This will avoid having issues.

According the audio driver be sure to have the latest installed (v3.0) NO MATTER for which software!!! If not please do a clean uninstallation of the current driver (see Tips & FAQs thread). You can find the latest driver in the download section or on the ESI homepage ( http://www.esi-audio.com) at their support page. Cheers, Steve

Once I unplug the U46, whether it is after or before closing Cross, or after or before closing the control panel (i have tried both in many different orders) the latency immediately returns to 256

Usually you unplug the u46 after closing Cross! If it´s not saved it sounds like your driver installation isnt clean. try deinstalling it, the clean the regisrty with ccleaner and install again. And most importantly always use the same usb port as said before! regards J
