How to get your iTunes stars/ranking show into Cross

Almost ready to purchase Cross, but one of the major good thing for me is that Cross should recognize the existing ratings I've done in iTunes on my Mac.

For some reason, no stars appear when I load my iTunes directory in Cross.

ps: Am still using Demo version.

Please help {^_^}

When you are using I-tunes in Cross, you should be able to see the ratings of your tracks directely in I-Tunes!

Unfortunatly the stars don't show in the ranking of the iTunes playlist of Croos DJ Demo.

Has this happened before? Any suggestions?

Do a right-click on the "Artist" or "Title" panel. A list with options should appear where you can select "Rating". I guess that the rating is just disabled, right? Or can you see the rating (the stars) but all tracks have no stars?

Thanks for the tip. Basically I can see the Ranking field, but all tracks have no star - neither in the iTunes section nor if I put them in the "collection".

I have thousands of tracks ranked in iTunes and would love to see these in my Cross DJ soft.

Probably the id tags haven't been saved..you have to save them with a tag editor like mp3tag or something like this.

Going around it, I also found out that I could input the number of stars into the "Comments" field in iTunes - Than appearing in DJ Cross.

Not ideal but a solution for people who have this problem.

I never use stars but always use comments..i found it very useful.

The problem is that star rating in iTunes is not a field in id tags so it can not be saved as tag. As a result of this Cross, in mediabase fields, can't show this field. In Cross iTunes selection i can see, changing the stars rating in real time. I change rating in iTunes and make reload in Cross iTunes and everything changes instantly.
(I used iTunes 9 for this test.)
