Cross DJ LE and Behringer UCA222

Hi all.

I've got a U-Mix Control 2, Cross DJ LE and a Behringer UCA222 external sound card on a Macbook Pro. Everything works fine except for monitoring. I cannot figure out how this is supposed to work, since Cross DJ LE offers very little configuration in the Preferences windows. As for output, there is only output1/output2 listed together, and I cannot choose them separately... This means I cannot route monitoring to a separate interface...

Does anyone have any idea on how to accomplish this on my setup? Is it possible, in some way, route the monitors to the internal soundcard and ordinary audio output to the Behringer?

Any help is appreciated.

Hey,

this is because output1/output2 is in fact just 1 stereo ouput
on your interface which you can of course not split.

If there arent more outputs available, then your soundcard just does not have more. this is not a software problem!

You wont get passed buying a new interface.

cheers
J

J-kut is right, unfortunately you only have one stereo output at your audio interface while two are needed for master and cue. You have two options if you are asking me:

1.) Buy a new 2 stereo channel audio interface i.e. Mixvibes U46 MKII or Mixvibes U-Mix 44

2.) You can buy an additional 1 channel audio interface and use ASIO4ALL

I would prefer point 1 because using two audio interfaces with ASIO4ALL works, but is not the best solution in my opinion.

Cheers,

Steve

dude has a mac, no chance to use asio4all
im not familiar with osx but cant coreaudio do the dual soundcard method (behringer for master out and the onboard jack plug for monitoring)?

but ye, the best & most elegant soulution would be to buy a 2x2 stereo interface

no aggregate devices on mac
(well, i never managed to make it work )
that´s why i suggested that he buy a new interface.
