Macbook pro u46 mkII

Hi this has probably already been brought up but my mac is not recognizing my soundcard (u46 mkII). I know i am setting everything up right because it works on my PC... which is slow. Is there anything I am doing wrong? please help :!:

A known issue with some changes into CoreAudio, we're working on a fix.
