ION DISCOVER DJ HELP ASAP!

I recently bought a ion discover DJ so I can learn how to DJ and just play around with music, I installed the software, pluged in the device and nothing works. The software can play music if i use my mouse but the device itself does nothing, Ive attempted to install ASIO but it will not pick up the ion device as a sound device. In control panel under sound devices it shows up and says it works perfectly. Ive run out of ideas. Im running on windows xp and mixvibes cd version 1.0. Ive attempted to find help everywhere but unable to do so. Please help, thank you.

You have an issue with your usb drivers.

Ive attempted to install ASIO but it will not pick up the ion device as a sound device.

The ion discover DJ don't have a soundcard so asio is useless with it.

In control panel under sound devices it shows up and says it works perfectly.

See previous answer : there is nothing to handle audio on this device. What you see there is the MIDI part, and yes it is connected but no you can't use it because of some conflicting usb drivers.

First thing to do is to update your Discover DJ version to 1.3.2 (see download center).

And if finally you can't make it work, then may be the guys at Ion could help you with the device detection.
