Simple question (Forum related)

Postby alexbesht on 22 Apr 2011, 04:43

Hi,

everytime I want to write a new post, or reply to a thread on this forum. I'm asked to login after I already have and typed a whole text. I have to retype it all over again (or copy paste it if I've thought it through). How come?

Cheers,

Alex

This looks like a browser issue to me...

Hey guys,
thanks for your answers. I realized I was very vague in my first post. I forgot to specify I was using the latest version of Safari, that my security settings are not that high, they're normal I would say, cookies are activated for all sites I visit, just not for ads or 3rd party. I don't normally have this problem with other sites where you have to login.
And of course I do tick the option for being logged in everytime I enter the forum.
I was vague because I expected safari users to tell me they had the same problem, but now I'm really curious about this problem...it's not that annoying anyway, I just have to remember everytime I post something, but it would be better if it worked of course.

I see you're a Mac user. Is it possible for you to try a different browser and see if you have this problem with that

well I tested it again, and the post I just wrote didn't require me logging in again...that's weird.
