Is it connected directly to the computer? I mean not connected to a usb hub or seomthing comparable?!

How did you install the system? First the software with the driver and just then you have plugged in the U-Mix Control Pro? Or did you install it in a different way?

What is connected to the other usb ports?

Did you configure your computer for audio software? Have a look into the tips & tutorials section, there is thread with questions and answer where you find what you are looking for!

Cheers,

Steve

Does the software see the MIDI and the soundcard of the U-Mix Control Pro ?

Hi, thanks for getting back. Re-installed Win 7 as guessed it was an issue with some of the other audio software? (Ableton, Various Plug ins, VDJ etc...) and on fresh install it appeared to work... now it seems to crash when mixing sometimes!!? :(

Which processor is in your system? Core iX? Try to mix with 48kHz

Cheers,

Steve

Hey,

Have you disabled the exclusive mode for audio devices in Windows? Sometimes this can make problems when you have installed other programs which uses those devices. (Skype, Recording Software like Audacity or No.23Rec and so on)

To disable this you must go under sound -> preferences -> extended (or other is the last tab) -> exclusive Mode -> disable

This you must do with all devices which are the U-Mix. So for Input and also Output you must set this to disable. After that a restart of the computer and then it should work without these message.

I hope it helps you
regards
