Cross fading with cueing discover DJ

How do I Cross fade my 2nd track, (the one playing in the headphones-to be played next) with the 1st master track (playing on the main speakers to the crowd)??

I am pretty new to using the discover DJ. I have 2 sound cards, so cueing isn’t a problem, I am able to listen to the master track on the speakers, and the cue track on my headphones (using the external mixer routing on the audio setting with asio4all v2). The problem arises when I want to play the next song, on the main speakers. How do I Cross fade from the master track (on the speakers) to the cue track (on the headphones)?? The Cross fader doesn’t differentiate between deck A and deck B when I have 2 sound cards installed. Before the usb soundcard was installed, it was possible to scratch and Cross fade with the main speakers only. Any ideas??

From what you say here viewtopic.php?f=268&t=19846, you are using external mixer mode.
If yes, that's the problem...

well, in the dual stereo mode my DDJ has both the master and the cue through the speakers and the headphone's blank. I guess crossfading from master to cue shouldnt be a problem in dual stereo, but the dual stereo refuses to work here. tried everything including the SUPPORT AND FAQ SECTION.

Simple Stereo will mix both master and cue in one output.
Dual Stereo will use two separate outputs.
External Mixer will separate both players + the cue (3 outputs).
Then you definitely want Dual Stereo.

If it doesn't work, it's a problem with channel selection in Cross or in Asio4All !
