u-mix44 problem. can't switch monitor sound

Postby jimmiceman on 27 Mar 2011, 21:34

Hi, I couldn't find my answer anywhere so I'm going to ask. I am using a stanton scs3 system. I also hooked up the mixvibes u-mix44. My problem is that I have the headphones hooked into the mixvibes headphone jack and the master sound comes through them. I can not monitor individual decks in the scs3 system. if I switch the monitor buttons on the MIDI controller nothing happens it just plays the master sound. Any help???
Thanks Jimmy.

Hello, here's what you need to do with your u-mix44., configure your software that way (Routing Mode in the Audio preferences) one output is for the master and the other one for the Cue.

Hope this will help you out !

1&2 : deck A or master
3&4 + headphones : deck B or monitor

Ok Thanks guys. I think it is working now. One question though. I am getting a lot of noise, hum from the headphones. when I play with the cable it stops somewhat. is it the headphone port?

I don't think, check your male connector/adapter.
