I bought Mixvibes DVS MKII second hand and now i'm trying to install the software but it's not accepting my serial number, could it be that the man i bought it from already used this serial number and it's not accepting it? if this is the case, what can i do?

I don't think that the previous owner has an account of the forum :(
Anyway, i sent N-Deep and the Support Vibes a PM with the serial number asking them if they can deactivate it, i hope they can help..

Best thing you could do! Another point: try to get in contact with the seller. Grab any information you can get (copy of the invoice, shop where he bought it, bought date,...). Also ask for an existing forum account.

Cheers,

Steve

Well here comes the next problem:
1. The phone number that the seller gave me isn't correct, some French guy is picking up, so i can't call him.
2. Yesterday he said i could send him a mail if i had a problem, i sen't him 3 mails and i'm starting to doubt that he will reply.
3. And he said he is going out of town from tommorow (monday) until next week, so i cannot contact him from tommorow onwards.

I don't think he cheated me, because the equipment seems to work fine, i've got all the cables, the soundcard is working, the CD's are there so it seems a little ridiculous that someone would cheat me by giving me everything except a valid serial number.

Will the Mixvibes Support de-activate the serial number so i can use it or won't they believe me? That would be a real shame because i saved up for quite a while to buy this and was really excited to try it out :(

I just sent N-Deep and Mixvibes@Support another mail with an attached photo showing the mixvibes cd and the serial number stuck on the cd case, i hope they will be convinced after seeing it.
