Xone:42 + U-Mix 44 + Cross 1.5

heyo,

in a few days my xone:42 will arrive. this mixer got a usb interface to play music or record mixes:

Connect your Xone:42 to your computer using a standard Type A to B USB lead. Open your chosen
music playback software, ensuring that ‘USB Audio CODEC’ is selected as the sound playback device.
You can now play music from your computer on the Mic / USB channel; ensure that ‘USB’ is selected using
the switch next to the USB port on the Xone:42.

so i want to use this feature using the preview player in Cross 1.5
how can i route the preview player to the usb audio codec of the xone:42? is it possible? i use u-mix44 and timecode aswell.

I am not quite sure if it is possible. If it is it mgiht work with ASIO4ALL so that you can configure the U-Mix for the whole timecode work and the mixer's internal for previewing. Just a guess!

hey steve,

sounds good with asio4all but i dont see any settings in the Cross audio setup to route the preview player?! there u can only choose one soundcard / driver.

ah yes, I did not think about that! My fault! So I guess (!) that it is not possible. Maybe support@mixvibes or any other member in here has a clue. I am out of ideas. If there is an idea I will post again
