Concerning Releases and Registrations

Hello Mixvibes Team

i have some Questions converning my MV Software. Maby you could help me:

I have MV Producer and MV Cross 1.5.
I registered my Producer here in the Forum. My First question is:
If i Register my Cross 1.5, will i "loose" my Producer rights and so not see the updates and Boards, or will i see both and all the Updates?

2nd Question: I use Producer 7.4 RC. No i know that Producer will be replaced by DVS Ultimate. Will we become new Serials? (I still have the old MV 6 Serial, that was allowing us to upgrade to MV7). Because i think Ultimate is far beyond the latest Producer updates and I would love to use acutual software, not a rather outdated one (RC was deployd in may 2010). How will we be able to keep our Producer software up to date?

I love MV, but at the moment, its a mess with versions (wich ar official, wich are RC, what is the difference between Ultimate and Producer). I dont need vynils, i mix with my VCI-100.

Would be great if you could tell us where we can find the newest software and if i could register two different products at the same time.

Kind Regards
Beat, Switzerland.

Please just copy your serial into the serial field in which your Producer serial is here in you profile. You will not loose any serial and if you copy it both are stored in the system. Worked for me with DVS and Cross after it.

Greetings,

Steve

DVS Ultimate IS Producer and so the licence keys for Producer work into DVS.

Actually Ultimate latest official release have more fix than Producer 7.218 but if you put DVS & Producer 7.4rc side by side : they're the same.

Latest official : Producer 7.218 / DVS Ultimate 7.3
Latest RC : 7.4 for both

Now I have got a question :) As you can see in the attached picture I only see 7.218 as latest official release. I am "only" DVS 7 user but as far as I have understood all DVS/Producer users are allowed to use DVS-Ultimate because it is the next and only version, melt together. Am I right? Or did I get it wrong and only Producer users are allowed to use DVS-Ultimate? I am a bit weird now :D Sry!

Greetings,

Steve

If you want DVS Ultimate simply run DVS 7.4rc.

DVS Ultimate = Producer 7.4rc = DVS 7.4rc

Now its all clear. Thank you very much.
Looking forward to my first gig with Cross...
I love both. If Cross had a sampler, that would be Nr 1 choice. So I have to decide, but both have its great pros.

Looking forward using them for a long time!

i was just wondering what's gonna happen after the cut of Producer's updates, because i owe Producer and DVS. What am i gonna to with the licences? The problem is that i updated DVS to Producer (or Mix Vibes Pro in the past) for 2 reasons:
1. Fx section
2. Video
Which are my options after that?

After the cuts of Producer updates, you will still be able to use the DVS ones (=Producer) with your Producer serial.

Video is no longer into Producer, it is now a dedicated product : Vfx.

You can sell any of your 2 licences as you want.

So you tell me that if i want to use video i have to pay about 550 euro, plus the 400 euro that i gave for buying DVS and the update to Mix vibes Pro? Is it correct?
Do i have the option to use 4 licences of DVS?
Thanks a lot
