Hi Guys,

as I´m using the Vestax PMC05pro4, I thought it would be possible to record my Mix in Cross, but i somehow dont get it to work :?:

I have the PMC´s Faders mapped to send the equivalent Midi-Signals,
but when i record the Master-Mix there´s no sound...

So is the Midi-fader control disabled when i choose external Mixer?

regards
J

- the PMC drive the audio and the MIDI you can't switch to audio or MIDI only for the faders.
- the sound is still routed into external mixer mode, so the sound is still processed outside.

If you want this to work you need to have the routing set as dual stereo, the faders mapped to MIDI.

But the main (mixed signal) will be on the 1&2 of U46 and the monitor (cue) on 4&6 so the loop back of the soundcard must be routed differently to the PMC or not even to PMC.

hm, i´ll stay with a seperate recorder, this only makes sense when the EQ etc. would be MIDI as well.

Btw why didnt make Vestax it completely midi-able :?: :frown:

But thx for your help!
