Hello,

i am posting this topic not for an issue but more for a question or a general topic.

Did you notice any sound quality difference between XP and Seven ? or XP and Vista ?

I have tested with some soundcard in Asio4All or Directsound and i hear a difference between these OS.

Did you also notice it ?

Do you prefere the sound quality in WIndows 7 or XP ?

I went from Vista to Windows 7 and to be honest I did not hear a difference in sound quality. I did notice a big (good) difference in how my gig laptop performed with the new OS

In my opinion if you are thinking about installing a new OS, on a new or fairly new laptop/PC and would recommend upgrading to Windows 7, and not downgrading to XP ;)

XP has been around since 2003 that makes it a 8 year old OS!!!!!That's very old in the Tech world, almost ancient

Hello,

I did not realise any difference in the sound too. To me both (XP and Win7) sound the same. The only difference I could hear was between DVS and Cross, but that has another reason.

Greetings,

Steve
