Hola.
I want to hear the music in the speakers and the next song in the Headphones.
I bought a "TARJETA DE SONIDO USB 2.0 EXTERNA 3D Virtual AC-3 5.1 " for the headphones.
I have in the PC a realteck ac97.
I have installed Asio4all in the windows Xp .

But it still not possible to use the headphones.

By the way: with virtualDJ works.

Any help ????
Paco

Can you please have a look at the audio options in the preferences? There you can adjust the outputs. set it up that way that the cue plays through the internal interface and the master through your USB audio interface (or converse).

Greetings,

Steve

Hello,

I have the same problem as our friend here Paco.

I have the external USB sound card installed and the asio4all but I just can't configure the sound the way I can hear the music in the speakers and the next song in the headphones....

Can you walk me thru the Preference option ?

What should I chose for:
- Control Panel ( Primary Sound Driver, Realtek HD audio rear output, SB X-Fi GO - This is the external sound card - or ASIO4ALL)
- Left Input
- Output 1 / Ouput 2 / Output 3
- Routing Mode

Thank you,
Jorge

Hi Steve,

I have registered. Hope I had put enough info....

I have the ION DISCOVER DJ.

Again, I think I have all set up (software) in order to work but I just can't figure out how to set it up in the preference option.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Jorge

ASIO4ALL

jafzal wrote:- Routing Mode

Try Dual Stereo.

In the ASIO4ALL control panel you can activate all the needed interfaces as far as I can remember. This is what I can not tell you how to do because I did not user ASIO4ALL since a long time, but if you have activated two soundcards it should work with the setting above.

If it does not work please make screenshots of the ASIO4ALL control panel and you audio preferences in Cross with the first tab opened to see which possibilities you have for choosing the audio interface.

Please let me know about everything if it does not work.

Greetings,

Steve

Asio4all is the virtual soundcard you're using and inside asio4all you select the hardware that you want to be part of this device.
