hey guys , a few months ago i purchased the Cross Pack with the soundcard , vinyl and all that jazz and i have been using it happily on a set of vinyl turntables untill yesterday... i went out and purchased a set of cdj's these ones to be exact: http://www.djcity.com.au/products/usb-d ... _1594.html theyre not the best in the world but they will do me fine. i also purchased this mixer :http://www.djcity.com.au/products/max-7008-dj-mixer-with-effects-beat-counters-usb-2-channel_1463.html

ive hooked it all up to my laptop the same as i had the vinyl and ive managed to work most of it out, ive got songs to play on each cdj and the cue button works to a degree ( although when i use the cdj's without Cross and use normal cd's the cue button when released returns the cd to the starting position, but in Cross it just continues the song and stops when released?)

but anyway my problem is is that if i touch the jog wheel at all Cross goes nuts and speeds the song forward ( always foward even if i rotate backwards) and the only way to stop it is to press play and then pause on the cdj? how can i fix this? any ideas? i know theyre not great cdj's but the jog wheel should still be useable to search through a track n Cross shouldnt it?

any help is greatly apreatiated.

If the control goes nuts, it means the timecode signal out of the CDJ is bad...

Cross is compatible with any CDJ as long as the timecode signal is not destructed !

Check there's not Master Tempo nor any FX enabled on the CDJ.

You should be in absolute mode into Cross.

May be the inputs are saturated.
