New user trying to get started. Thank you for your help.

Software is installed. Discover DJ plugged in to Macintosh USB port and the eight buttons are lit up (Orange, Red, Red, Green). However, when pushing the buttons and turning the knobs on the Discover DJ unit, the software is not controlled and nothing happens. All of the controls in the software work fine with the mouse.

We've tried rebooting and have used all of the USB ports. A USB prober shows that the controller is hooked up.

Can hardly wait to get started. Any suggestions on what to try?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the demo to Cross 1.5, and the ION Discover DJ works just fine with. There's gotta be a problem with the Cross 1.3.2 software, and not with the hardware.

Any solution would be appreciated! Thanks!

Cross 1.3.2 don't have MIDI for the IDDJ. It have since 1.4

What do you use EXACTLY Cross or Cross Discover ?
Cross discover already have an integrated mapping for Ion discover.

I use Cross – Discover DJ 1.3.2. The program loads fine, but the lights remain lit and inoperable on the ION Discover DJ unit. I then downloaded the Cross 1.5 Demo, and the unit works as it should. The problem is with the Cross – Discover DJ 1.3.2 software, and not the unit. Please advise. Thanks.

You'd better update to Cross DJ because Discover don't have update for now.

Is there a free update somewhere? If so, can you post the link? THANKS!
