cannot get cue to work, Cross Discover DJ, mac 10.6

I have a Macbook running 10.6.5, 2.GHz Intel Core Duo 2.
I have a "Roland UA-4FX USB Audio Capture" USB interface, which has a line out running to an external amplifier(speaker)
I have an ION DISCOVER DJ USB controller
I am running Cross DISCOVER DJ 1.2.9
I have a pair of headphones

I cannot figure out how to get the cue function to work, so that I can monitor sounds playing with headphones.
Everytime I try, all I get is both decks coming through the speakers at once. I have tried all the different configurations under audio preferences in Cross DJ.
I have also done a search on this forum, but all I can find are WIndows user with ASIO issues.
Are there any Mac users out there, who can help me?

Number of Audio Record/Playback Channels
Record:1 pair of stereo
Playback:1 pair of stereo

You can't : you need 2 pair of outputs to process 2 different signals.

EDIT : you can have 2 pairs with your actual setup.

What if i got a splitter because im coming across the same problem...i have a splitter will that work

ok i even tried the link. Maybe i dont know were the other output (input) is on my laptop. i got three plug ins in the front one for line in , mic, and not sure what the last one is. it might be a output but even when i play with all the aois settings i still get nothing out so i can cue. i dont even hear anything from it. i update my drivers and evertything. I got a Acer aspire 3680 maybe you can see were my other output is cause this is fustrating

You only have one output so it can't work for you.

Do you have 2 physical different outputs ?

You need to add a device like a usb audio dongle.

I am having the same problem. im trying to use traktor with my new Numark mixxtrack. im just starting to learn how to do this. took me a long time to figure out the audio. i have 2 headset outputs on my HP and i just bought a usb sound card. but they are two dif options and i cant use both, one for my head phones and one for the speaker. so as of right now i cant set up songs and im completely lost!
