Right then,
Managed to fix this, it's seems to be a Codec issue as even though I've got iTunes installed, I'm wasn't picking up a MP4 codec to enable playback.
I've downloaded the BASIC version of K Lite codecs and installed, then ran though the install wizard to enable to codec. (This wants to default everything to Windows Media Player, but then just switch it back to your player of choice afterwards).
I can now load up the MP4 files fine....
K Lite is free and legal by the way, so if the software guys want to add it in an update.....
