m4a files don't load

Postby rooser on 26 Dec 2010, 19:07

Hi all,

I'm brand new to all this, but seem to have got things working fine so far with mp3's. Unfortunately all tunes I've got that are m4a wont load up. They are not protected and can be played fine in other programs, it's just that everytime I pick one or drag and drop it, it just stays blank.

Any clues for a Noob?

Cheers

Which software was delivered with the U-Mix Control or with which software are you using it? Was it a LE version?

Greetings,

Steve

Hi,

I got MixVibes 3DEX software and looking at the sleeve the disc came in it has SER000120 3DEXLEUMIXCONTROL Printed on it along with the License Key.

I've imported my iTunes library so out of nearly 16000 tracks about half are m4a /m4v etc, I really don't want to change them to mp3 tbf....

I don't get any error messages as in the other thread though.

Cheers

Right then,

Managed to fix this, it's seems to be a Codec issue as even though I've got iTunes installed, I'm wasn't picking up a MP4 codec to enable playback.

I've downloaded the BASIC version of K Lite codecs and installed, then ran though the install wizard to enable to codec. (This wants to default everything to Windows Media Player, but then just switch it back to your player of choice afterwards).

I can now load up the MP4 files fine....

K Lite is free and legal by the way, so if the software guys want to add it in an update.....
