Alright, so a second USB sound card did the trick. Now I'm running into another issue.

Every so often at random (no more than 5 minute intervals) I get a hiccup. Both tracks skip very briefly but very noticeably. My system is a quad core i5 with 4gb ddr3 running windows 7 64 bit... I've tried everything I can think of, including shutting down all other processes, setting the mixvibes priority to realtime, and moving the mp3s to different hard drives... I still have the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? I would like to record some stuff but nobody wants to listen to mixes that skip.

Hello,

please try this:

http://audioforums.com/windows-xp-optimization.php

A lot of it works for Win7 too.

Greetings,
