using Cross with one turntable

Im having trouble using Cross with just one turntable/timecode. Is there a way to alternate and switch the timecode over to the non playing turntable?

You should add a mapping for the function : external control/invert control decks.
It can be keyboard or MIDI.

when the button inverts does the first player come to a complete stop?

No it simply switch to flexible mode at the last pitch sended by the timecode.
