Well reloaded my audio driver thinking that was the problem any ideas of what else to try to fix the problem? Under preferences and audio section when trying to change the audio device from <<no audio device>> I get the following message Error while opening primary sound driver " unknown error: -2004287480"...one again any help is appreciated

error related to your sound card drivers, uninstall them and follow again the setup. Or your drivers need to be updated to your system.
