DVS won't start until onboard sound card is connected

EDIT: Problem solved by re-installing Maya driver

It seems that DVS (in opposite to Cross and all other DJ apps I own) needs to just see a WDM driver in the system (Windows 7 in this case). A working ASIO driver is not enough to launch DVS7.

You can check that a standard audio device is installed and activated when the speaker symbol is active (no red deactivation Cross).

Resume: If DVS refuses to launch with the message "No Sound Card Found" - just install a WDM driver :D

I used DVS Ultimate just with a Maya44 USB connected since I bought it. But since today the app refuses to work with the message "No Sound Card Found".

I have to plug in a connector to the onboard sound card to get the app running. Then I can use the Maya ASIO soundcard.
Without a connector plugged into the onborad sound card DVS does not come up. DVS does not require a "real" audio connection, just the dummy connector without any cable enables the prog to start...

Made the mistake to run "reset.exe" - that changed nothing, except that all my settings are killed

What I did today:
1. played around with Cross for the first time since 4 weeks
2. installed Traktor Scratch Pro and Audio 8 DJ (which is NOT connected at the moment - just the driver installed)

Thank you in advance
