Psykadelik's right; both processors are more than you need for such approach.
Based on dozens of PCs tested in the office
- a little hint:
Faster cores are better than more cores. E.g. 2 x 3,0 GHz is better than 4 x 2,0 GHz for a single user workstation = DJ
).
Therefore I would choose a fast i5 CPU (1156 socket. most are dual cores) and not a low-end i7 (the 1156 socket ones. quad core) - and invest in more RAM and a bigger screen.

If it's just mixvibes you are using core i5 is more than enough.
