Mixvibes Cross LE

Ok, I have one of these Discover DJ, kind of a cool little product. However, when I plug it to my laptop where all of my Itune stuff is, the Descover DJ software Mixvibes Cross LE CD Version 1.0

Only allows certain some to transfer in the cue. It will not load the song, even if it is in my Itune folder. At first, I thought it was because it was a wav4 file, but other wav4 fills work and some do not.

Then I thought it was because they were wav4 files from videos...but they were not videos. So what can I do?

DRM...HUM? Well, the interesting thing is, if it was the DRM (Digital Rights managenment) then you would think I wouldn't be unable to load those songs that are DRM on a CD...which is what I did?

But, it's better to play them from my Laptop, then from anything else. It's kind of like saying. You can buy it, you just can play it type of deal. If I play it at home or in a public place, the only thing that is happening is that I am promoting their song for them.

It's kind of like me promoting their record for free. I get a lot of kids coming to the DJ booth asking where can they get the song I am playing. Now, will I get a cut for sending kids to go buy the song...NOT!

I would like to see an industry standard that says...."this song has DRM control" this way I can save myself some money from having to buy the POS!

wrong! DRM protected files can be burned on a CD, not infinite but you can!

The shops that sold (past tense because I know no shop that offers drm files anymore) drm protected files wrote this on their pages more than thousand times. If so you should have realized it before the buy.

So are it drm protected files?

Well, Hum are they or aren't they...not sure. It's just that I buy all of my music on iTunes. If I am not mistaken, there were not signs or information that said they are protected. Yes, I figured that maybe they were.

But the real problem is...not that I think they are protected, but why does the Mixvibes software pick up some songs and not others. If it because the are DRMed? or could it be a glitch in the software? I have about 70 sound more or less, but the software only picks up about 43 songs, the rest I can't play.

So the question still stands, if they don't supply DRM anymore then why doesn't the software pick up those songs? Plus, buying them on Itune, is there a place or an indicator that says that some songs will not play?

If they're DRM free we'll read them, if they're protected we can't read them.
Can you please send me one of the file that can't play ?

EDIT : what do you call wav4 files ? what extension do they have ?

NOPE!!!!!! I tried to send you a file, but it was protected. When I try to grab the file...the folder is there but not the file.

So does this mean I am S.O.L?

May be this a part of the answer if you can't do anything with these files...
