Vfx program issues

I bought the Vfx controller because I liked how you could control both video and audio from one unit for a reasonable price. I am having problems with the software that came with it. I am using a new computer that more than meets the requirements (except for the video card. Currently only using on board Intel HD video.)

Unfortunately the software does one of two things. 1) When I try to scan for music, whether from an internal hard drive or an external hard drive, the program crashes. 2) The program itself lags. I will be playing media on one channel while loading the next track on the other channel and the program will slow down and stutter. Sometimes it freezes all together. Any ideas why this is happening?

You made a good choice buying Vfx & we are here to help you to solve your setup problems.
Check first if you have the last version of Vfx "stable" as many improvements and debug come with updates. Compare with the info in Vfx menu "about"

For your info a very important update will be published at the end of October. Vfx version 1.2 with a lot of debug and new features.

Is your PC tweaked correctly ? Anti virus and other background processes deactivated ?

You might have some files that are doing that. Adding them by small batch may help you find which ones are doing this and sending them to me for analyze. Thanks.

May be graphic card drivers or directX not up to date.
