iDJ3 Overview (Help)

Postby DJ Tony on 06 Oct 2010, 01:30

I have just purchased my Numark iDJ3. I am very pleased with the unit's capabilities but some options still don't seem to work. I was just wondering if this is only happening to my unit or if this is a general problem.

1. Headphones and Mic jacks on the iDJ3 don't seem to work while using a computer, is there an easier way of using the headphones (or mic) without routing anything using ASIO 4 All?

2.The Cue volume and Master volume buttons don't seem to work as well as the Cue source switch, is there an update I need to download in order to activate these functions? I didn't find any in the download center.

Thank you in advance.

All these features are handled by the hardware and need proper drivers installation.
As stated in the installation notice, you need FIRST to install the drivers, it is so important that even on the Mac version it is the same...

Well, how can I fix this? I have uninstalled everything, installed the drivers, then Cross and the problem is still there. Might this be happening because I'm running the software on Windows 7?

Certainly not ! W7 is not an issue...
Do you have a 64bits version ? If yes, does the IDJ3 drivers x64 compatible ?

Well I am running on a 64 bits Windows 7 OS. I'm not really sure if the iDJ3 is compatible or not. It should be because the CD included the 64 bits drive installation.

Check this : http://www.Numark.com/idj3a?tt=5

Software & Drivers Size Type
iDJ3 - 64 Bit Windows Drivers [v2.9.11]
Drivers for 64 bit installations of Windows 7 and Vista . 1 MB zip

iDJ3 - 32 Bit Windows Drivers [v2.9.11]
Drivers for 32 bit installations of Windows 7, Vista, and XP. 1 MB zip

To be sure download the 64bits drivers and install them.

I tried, but it still failed.

I feel so stupid asking this, but I can't find Cross version 1.4 in the download center, would it be possible to have the link?
I might as well map the knobs myself.

Your version is a Cross LE version (a limited one) so there is no update for this.
