Cross skipping tracks

Hello,

My Cross is skipping almost everytime I start a song and always the same way : after 2/3 sec it skips about 20 sec forward for a sec or so and then it goes back to normal time as on CD. This happens on both CDs.
I'm using TC CDs, U-Mix44 on Macbook pro. I have plenty of memory , buffer set to max doesn't help.
I play in absolute mode but I think the few times I played in relative it didn't happen. I want to stay in absolute.

Did you correctly set the input volume on the soundcard ?
You need to avoid to high inputs level.

Do you mean input level on U-Mix? I have double check that, but I don't think is too high. What other solution can you give me?
