I just bought Cross and when i installed it, it automatically pops up an error message on screen saying the application isn't responding I don't know what the deal is. Running on macbook. I click to use and it automatically does not work. It doesn't even give me time to type in the serial. what can I do?

I have tried reinstalling it many many times. yes its the osx version. after clicking relaunch about a hundred times it worked for about a minute then just closed unexpectedly again, my laptop specs are more than enough to run the program but it just won't stay open.
