OK so check, im goin to try and list all the problems ive had with mixvibe since i have installed it, which im sure illl miss some things....ill list the equipment i have....i have a set of Pioneer 800s mk2, Numark 2 channle dxm06 dell laptop 250 hd 3 gig memory. so for the most part the computer and mixvibe are pretty much new....

so i installed everything according to the manual. tried tweeking little things here and there...at one point in time i have output to the speakers, then i pushed stop/play button...didnt work pressed cue and it stopped the song. pushed play and nothing...had to use cue on the tables...there was another time i did the whole install wizard and got output again thru the speakers however when i cued a song played then pressed stop. then it started playing backwards. it almost seems like the tables are syncing with the program. cant make any loops on the tables, wont let me use the 1-2-4-8 count loops. pretty much cant do much with the tables with mixvibes. ive registered my serial # and downloaded the updates/drivers. im on lost as to what to do to get this program to run with my setup. i mean im gettin by with the cds i have now however there are so many song i have on my laptop that i would love to have access to all those songs right at my fingertips oppose to burning them to cds when i have gigs. ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS

What windows version do you own ?
You need to set your inputs levels to avoid saturation.
You can do this in the audio pannel of Windows.

As you can see on the left deck (cd) you need to lower the input with a cd deck. The max you can set is 9/100.

For backward playing :check cable inversion L/R

The 1-2-4-8 count loops can't work because your deck are not reading beats, only a frequency.

will i not be able to use any of the loops on my decks? i know i seen one demo on youtube...dont think it was the exact mixvibe i have but he was using Pioneer 1000s djm 900 mixer. he was using the 1-2-4-8 loops....is there something i need to do to in order to get this function to work....what will be my limits on my decks?

It's the same thing, you need to set your input level on the soundcard.

will i not be able to use any of the loops on my decks?

Yes you can but only manual loops, not auto loops that depend on beat detection of the deck.

Surely Cross by Mixvibes.

he was using the 1-2-4-8 loops....

No he wasn't, he was manually slicing loops.

No auto loop and no master tempo on the deck.
Correct input level and absolute mode in the software and you'll be ok with loops, cue, pitch, scratch and so on.
